Our Story
We have come a long way from our humble beginning in 2002. Our CEO, Mr Suneet Jain, started this journey with a small buy-to-let investment in 2002. By 2017, he had developed over 55 projects and built a property portfolio of c.£120M.
His primary focus during the early years of his property development journey was to hone in on the technicalities involved at any stage within the property development cycle, from inception to post-completion, and building trusting mutually-rewarding relationships with all those involved in this cycle. Trusting relationships are the product of trusting experiences. This belief runs through Mera Real Estate Limited today.
After 15 years of property development and construction knowledge and experience, it was his vision to expand further by delivering exceptional quality homes throughout London and the home counties.
It was this vision which brought together the three successful entrepreneurs Mr Omar Babaker, Mr Suneet Jain and Mr Neal Sahni. By deciding to pool in their resources and expertise, Mera Real Estate Limited was incorporated in 2018 and in just three years has become one of the fastest growing property development companies, in the South-East, with an impeccable track record.
The parent company of Mera Real Estate Limited is Babaker and Sons which is a privately owned family business. Babaker and Sons is a multi-asset organisation, with a strong presence in soft commodities. Our group is headed by our Chairman, Mr Omar Babaker, who provides direction and leadership to the entire group of companies. Babaker and Sons provides a sustainable funding to Mera Real Estate Limited, which has resulted in us inacting quickly on land and site acquisitions.
“Our drive is to deliver homes beyond expectations and be a leading homebuilder in London and the surrounding home counties. Building a home is all about putting yourself in a prospective home-buyer’s shoes- will they be proud to call this end development their ‘home’. If so, we have succeeded.”
